If Miles leaves-Terry Bowden should get a look-smart, led Auburn to an undefeated season, and left because he didn't want any of the powers to be at Auburn 's BS...

I can't think of a bad reason. I don't know what he has been doing the past few years. Why did he leave Auburn?

In 1992, Bowden was hired to succeed Pat Dye as the head football coach at Auburn University. Bowden's hiring occurred while the program faced NCAA sanctions, which included scholarship reductions, a one-year television ban, and a two-year postseason ban.
He left mid season after issues with the Auburn boosters and some other problems-one year after leading Auburn to the SEC title game.....his issues with the crooked Auburn boosters is well documented.

Ok I was wondering where the TommyB talk was from and as I said last night I would kill myself if we hired him.

He was 1-5 to start his last year at Auburn. He didnt like to recruit and alienated most high school coaches in Bama. He had numerous off the field incidents with players. He did not get along with most boosters because he was an arrogant little prick. I could go on...

Kind of my point. He was successful at Auburn. What happened? Was his success not his doing? If that is your position, then is Les success his doing?

tommy bowden was at the helm for some of the worst underachieving ever while at clemson. in a shitty conference, he only finished twice in the top 25. 22nd both times. he only finished the season twice with less than 3 loses- and one time was in 2008 b/c he was fired after only 6 games. yall thought miles was bad? this guy would last 1 year here before he was ran out of town on a rail

I think we're talking about Terry, not Tommy.
Then again, my response to both of them is frick no.

OK, now we are getting to some debate points. If he is not a good recruiter, he would not be a good choice IMO. Have to be a top recruiter.

Dude would have a stroke or heart attack his first season-The dude is 5-4 and weighs about 300lbs. Too much of a Workmans comp risk-that is a good reason for you.
