we didn't have David Silva, who really is our creator up the middle. Who's going to do that? Effing Milner or Barry?

In other games I've watched Yaya Toure's done a pretty damn good job of that and the one time he went forward today he was threatening. Tevez can work it as well. Could have started Adam Johnson.

ok, I was wrong. we're even. that seems to show that we play the same way home and away

It seems to me that the stats indicate that they are great at playing for the draw away...but not playing for the win at home.

Look i don't really care, Arsenal is going to be arsenal and MCFC is going to be MCFC.

They are two completely different styles of football.

One is about defense and one is about quick passing.

Arsenal fans hate citeh because they're boring and city fans hate arsenal because they're all flash and no substance.

We shouldn't finish below MCFC. We have a game in hand and the easier schedule the rest of the way out.

Fair enough, you should finish above us. Then, I will look back and say oh frick we should have played more attacking football against arsenal. In reality, the race is not going to come down to top five match ups, but results against mid table teams. MC and Arsenal have both had their slip ups. Who will win the games they are supposed to?

Can't find the article right now, but there was one earlier this year that didn't paint a pretty picture. I'm basing my opinion off of that.

Both teams will probably continue to slip up. City is hardly dominate against mid-table teams, and Arsenal always struggle. Only one team I can remember struggled against the top four and still went on to win the title, and that was the 2008 Man U squad.

Take a stab at a relative unknown like Sergio Ramos or Pique? They're a bargain from what i hear.

City's Next 5 (Premiership):
Wolves home
Villa Away
Birm Away
West Brom Home
United Away

Arsenal's Next 5 (Premiership):
West Ham away
Wigan home
Everton home
Newcastle away
Wolves home

During this time, both have at least one FA Cup match
Arsenal have 2 Carling Cup matches during this time too

We look to have the easier schedule, as all our games are completely winnable until we go to Tottenham in late Feb. The Cup ties with Leeds, Ipswich, and Barcelona will test our squad strength though.

You can only hope the squad holds up for Arsenal with all those other cup games. Being without Sagna could hurt against Everton, but we will see if their form turns over after todays big win against Tottie.

I certainly believe that Newcastle game is going to be a great game and another test for Arsenal.

Manchester United have a lot of road games still. And we all know our record this year on the road.

I only hope some what of last year's Rooney shows his head on the scoring end. His passing never went away.

I think Sagna will be back by then. He'll miss the cup ties, and then the West Ham game, since I think the red applies to all domestic games. I'm looking for the answer right now but am having some trouble. If we lose Sagna for three league games, we'll be in some pretty big trouble with Eboue.

Sagna can play in Carling Cup and FA Cup

I'm getting a differing answer, as a red card ban would pertain to any FA sanctioned event. Since those cups are FA held tournaments, I think he would be banned from those. Might be wrong though, still searching.

Sagna cannot play in the FA Cup or Carling Cup. Wilshere missed our cup matchup with Newcastle after picking up a red in a PL match. It applies to any FA match.

Good call. Thank god we are missing him for only the West Ham game.

Ian Darke's commentary is sterling, but damn he makes the no scores in thread titles rule worthless...that bastard.
