ermaelean's inclusion in the game. He played as a midfielder, and I think this might be something we might see more of. He certainly has the technique to play as a DM,

Yeah he did play defensive mid for his country on a number of occasions.

They also signed this Brazilian striker named Kleber who reminds me a lot of the Falcao signing by Porto two years ago. Mostly due to the price tag, and goal-ability.

Also they signed a new 6'2, 20 year old, French defender named Eliaquim Mangala(nice name). Don't know much about him except he didn't make the U-20 team in Columbia.

Porto will still go a long way in Champion's League. They still have James Rodriguez who had a baller U-20 World Cup for host, Columbia. They brought over Belgian, Steven Defour, and now have room for Argentina's next Messi, Juan Iturbe to try to break into the team. They signed 20 year old, Brazilian wing backs/midfielders: Danilo and Alex Sandro from Santos. Who are also on the U-20 Brazil team in the final. And Djalma Campos, a 24 year old Angolan speedster.

And now have 40 million to spend on more players. FC Porto are the blueprint to building a champion club system.
You can only hope the squad holds up for Arsenal with all those other cup games. Being without Sagna could hurt against Everton, but we will see if their form turns over after todays big win against Tottie.

I certainly believe that Newcastle game is going to be a great game and another test for Arsenal.

Manchester United have a lot of road games still. And we all know our record this year on the road.

I only hope some what of last year's Rooney shows his head on the scoring end. His passing never went away.
Like henderson said god Jo as a winger is downright retarded.

Arsenal again beating around the post like me with Emily Otto. Put it in already.
I hate that Edin Dzeko is a City boy now. I should burn his jersey.
I'm going to pull an Arsenal and blame the pitch real quick. Cause that was one of the worst i've seen all season(Good luck Gunners after Wigan)

Btw did the ref really believe Zigic of all people was incapable of handball passing that? He is like the elephant man of the pitch, with his deformed size, weight, and ugly looking face.

Fergie shouldn't have gone so defensive atleast until we scored another goal. He obviously was trying to put Rooney further up the pitch with the Anderson for Fletcher swap, which turned us ultra defensive in the middle.

God damn dropping away points. And to awful Birmingham.

the defensive midfield we need to cause more problems in the passing lanes.

For some reason this makes me think of Don Henley singing 'Life in the Fast Lane'.

I'm good as well. Both look promising, and going to lead to more titles, that Liverpool will be enjoying from the bottom of the league.

I'll pick Bojan just because i look like him.

He stuck with Malouda through a couple of bad seasons and he is now growing into one of the better left side attacking players in the world. Kalou, despite years of mediocrity at best, is still getting plenty of run.

Both not Chelsea products. Name one Chelsea academy player on their team not from West Ham or Lyon(etc).

Another mark of a great club.
Neymar not going to Chelsea saved his career overall for both future club and country(might vary well win the World Cup 2014 in Brazil because of this).
Chelsea won by a single point last year.

Drogba's goal against United was offsides(like most of his goal ops in my opinion) to give them the victory(and the League).

Offsides?

Had Rooney not been hurt things would have been different.

"frick off, Chelsea F.C., you ain't got no history, 5 European cups and 18 leagues, thats what we call history" - Liverpool cheer

History is everything in all sports, you idiot.

re: Why is there no NFL BOARD?

Considering soccer is a worldly sport and has been around longer than the merge of the AFL and the NFL. You might have been dropped as a child, or you are just plain retarded. And the first rule for boards is: "you never go full retard".
I thought Le Monde du Silence by Louis Malle foreshadowed, metaphorically what would happen to the French National Team at some point in the future.

Schwarzer is definitely going to Arsenal pending Fulham finding another goalkeeper for their roster.

Hughes basically came out saying that yesterday after a meeting with the Australian keeper over the weekend.

Its Schwarzer's dream move to go to the Gunners.
Van Persie out 3 weeks. Jesus the season has barely started and the injuries are mounting.
