Doesn't even mention Miles as a possible candidate.

Word up here among some of the boosters is that Miles won't leave LSU.

That would fit with what Memphisplaya said. Who knows, at this point?

I honest think that the AD should resign.. Clearly he is in way over his head!!

JUST WOW! Undecided ? Really?

did Harbaugh throw a wrench in your plan A there bud?

This is embarrassing IMHO

I would be ticked off if I was a UM fan

The entire fan base is ready for a change at this point..so is RR..Bringing him back is unfair to RR..and the fans

I think the fact that Brandon hasn't fired him as of yet make me believe he doesn't want to. My guess is he met with RR and asked him to come up with a list of DC candidates and his plans to improve the defense along with the list of recruits he has on his board for evaluation. If he feels RR is trying to make progress and bring the right defensive guys in here-he will probably give RR one more chance.

Well-I always said Brandon should go back to selling pizzas-although Domino's took a dive after he took over at first but he did bring them back sort of.

He said that Miles contacted Michigan last week to tell them he wasn't interested. Then, I posted a tweet from a sportscaster in Oklahoma who said that his sources in Michigan were saying it would be Miles. That thread got whacked. So, there is conflicting information. Obviously, Memphisplaya is far more reliable than some guy in Oklahoma.

Just go with what Memphisplaya said. Move along.

In the meantime they have alienated recruits. I am sure tOSU fans are eating this up.

Would not surprise me at all if Les straight up said he told them he wasn't interested if he didn't think the job would come open.

That said, I think Les said that to cover his arse and keep things calm for his negotiations with LSU. He held them hostage to a degree last time (mainly because you had the idiots Bertman and O'Keefe running things) and got a huge raise and extension out of it.

Even Belowpar mentioned in the end of November that a new deal was going to be worked out between the two. If Les were planning to potentially leave for UM, this would hurt his ability to negotiate given what happened last time. Smart move, and wouldn't be surprising.

God I love this board.

I'm more excited about the days after the Cotton Bowl than the bowl itself. This board is going to be lit up until Michigan says something.

IMO, Michigan's lack of comments says more than anything they could say at this point other than that RR is fired. I think it shows that they are either trying to keep RR on board and change up staff (which I think would kill their fan base), or that they are reaching for Miles/he is lined up, which would mean they can wait a week or so to confirm RR is fired, which would keep the eyes off of Miles and let him do his game before jetting up north.

If it was Hoke, then I believe RR would have been fired by now and he would have been named HC. Which leads me to believe it is one of the options above.

Also, as reliable as Memphis is, coaches spray bullshite all the time about their intentions. I saw a quote earlier today where Miles said when asked about the Michigan job, that matched word for word what he said before playing Okie State's bowl game and hitting the road for LSU.

This shite is getting odd.

This might be the worst AD of all time. If I were a Michigan fan, I would be losing my mind.

UF filled their job with WM ultra fast, and that took 4 days. This won't happen overnight.

Hell, Michigan still has a coach as of now.

Lots of people on this board expected RR to be fired Monday and new coach announced Tuesday. It typically, NEVER seems to happen that quickly.

Mandeville, I know Foley said muschamp was the first choice, but do you not think they felt out Mullen and others? Also, if B. Hoke was the guy then why wouldn't they just fire RR and hire him? Do you think he really has to consider whether to leave SDSU for Michigan?
