I know he is on campus but won't play in the bowl game. Seems like we should be hearing more about his progress.

He has been named 1st team QB for the "Haven't Played A Snap Yet" college AA football team chosen by us fans.
The last LSU QB to be named to this AA team was Chris Garrett.

Not quite. No one thought Garrett had they hype Mettenberger has. People just wanted anyone in uniform to do better than the two we had.

Its a good thing that we havent heard anything about him. without being able to practice we would be hearing Ryan Perriloux type progress. Hopefully hes staying away from the X man
