Merry Christmas everyone!
Tell me what your favorite Disney restaurants are and why. I want to go to all new places. I've already been to:
Victoria & Alberts
Citrico's
Already have ressies at California Grill to celebrate the birthday. And also have a ressie at Saana, which is new and has incredible reviews.

It`s been a few years, but I had a great dry aged New York strip at the Rain Forrest Cafe. If you make it to Animal Kingdom,It might be worth a try.

We ate at Citicos and thought it was ok. Used part of our dining plan toward it. Would never dine at Victoria and Alberts. Way over priced. Had a friend describe it as Brennans at double the price. That isn't saying much.

but woudl Victoria and Alberts be worth it if it was part of your dining plan ?

A good lunch is here at The Plaza Restaurant.
The Prime Time Cafe is another good lunch spot.
For dinner, at the Wilderness Lodge I would recommend Artist Point for a slightly up scale dinner. You can stay in the Wilderness Lodge for a more casual dinner a the Whispering Canyon Cafe.
Also for dinner the Hollywood Brown Derby at MGM and the Rose and Crown Dinning Room at Epcot (awesome place to watch the laser and fireworks show and drink lots of good beer).

If it is part of your dining plan, I am sure it would be worth it.

Victoria & Albert's was my single best dining experience of my life. Did the whole 9 yards with wine pairings. It's not on the dining plan.
The high end restaurants charge you 2 dining credits (California Grill, Citrico's, Narcoosee's, Flying Fish Cafe, Brown Derby, Artist Point, Jiko...and a few others). I'm fine with the 2 credit use. I'd rather have 2 or 3 stellar meals vs. 5-6 mediocre ones.
No luck getting into Le Cellier. It's the most expensive restaurant on the plan that only charges you 1 credit so it books up fast.
We have the french place (Les Chefs) booked for dinner for our EPCOT day...but we're unsure if we'll even feel like eating dinner at our "Drinking Around the World" escapades. LOL We sha'll see.

That is simply not true. There are plenty of good places at the resorts, but they are really overpriced.
