We all know that Curley was nothing without Brett Favre. Has a TJ team that did not include 7'0" tall twins ever do anything to put him in the category of an above average coach?

Sad what you get for a little over a million/year nowadays. Talk about hyperinflation.

It was just two seasons ago that he won the SEC.

The man can coach. Recruiting seems to be his only weakness.

Trent made the NCAA Tournament in 3 of his 4 years at Stanford.

I don't want this to come across as a jab at Johnson because I am truly on the fence, but he inherited a very good squad from NBA coach Mike Montgomery at Stanford. He also inherited a very nice squad from Brady.

Did he have any NBA players on that Sweet 16 Nevada squad?

If T.J. had not gradually built a winner...getting better each year, at Nevada I might tend to agree with your analogy after that garbage put on the court last night.

I still think T.J. is building toward something good here. He really tore it down to build it back up.

Patience is not a virtue of the sports fanatic and never will be.

I'm not quite in agreement with the extreme he's gone to in some ways in the process of building a program.

And nothing excuses that pitiful result last night. He and the team earned whatever they get for that. Have at 'em.
