My favorite show a while back, pretty much ditto from what everyone else says. The heart of the show used to be about Tommy Gavin;s rollercoaster life of whipping arse, nailing arse, getting his arse kicked, striking out with women, then rallying back to the beginning of the cycle. Around the end of season 3/beginning of 4, Tommy becomes very emasculated. Pretty much, when he stops drinking, the show started sucking.....

The only seasons worth watching are 1 and 2; after that it's nothing but Dennis Leary drinking, not drinking and fricking whoever.
