I haven't read it all, but, I make sure anytime I shoot a nusiance dog, I use a sharp broadhead...

At our Wildsville lease, a guy did that and made a poor shot. The owner back tracked the blood to the camp. It was not pretty. Lawdog doesn't like it when people shoot collared beagles with bows.

We'd be glad to have you on our side! I have shot a dog with a bow before as well. He was a stray and in very bad shape and ran laps around my tree for about an hour. I did him a favor.
