Atlanta has been blowing teams out, and Carolina is the worse team in football right now. Why would this not be a double digit spread?

let down game?
Falcons overconfident?

Falcons have won more close games than blowouts

Maybe in the past five weeks when they have faced tougher competition (Tampa twice, Baltimore, & Green Bay), but they are playing the worst team in the league.

CAR gets 3 for being the home team.

ATL away from home is much different than them at home.

They have struggled lately.

Letdown game possibly.

No, Atlanta has won one game by more than a touchdown in the past two months.

As much as I dislike the Panthers, I dislike the Falcunts even more. GO Brandon LaFell! :P Knock the Saints into #1 seed :D

I'm almost positive that Tampa hasn't beaten anyone with a winning record. If they have it's no more than one or two teams.

ETA: It is ten. You basically get 3 just for being the home team. This is the NFL and you just don't see to many double digit spreads.

This is the 2nd of 3 straight road games for Atlanta. Also, going against home division underdogs can be dangerous.

No. They could easily have like 6 losses or so right now. They are barely winning games and everyone is crowning them as NFC champs already.

this post is the exact reason why I think the cats will give them a game tomorrow. let's hope clausen had the game of his life. carolinad defense isn't that bad. gamble and marshall can hold down roddy white IMO. they just need to stop the run and hope to get a couple short fields via turnovers n special teams
