ONE of them listed A&M above LSU. The other two, including Sagarin (you know, the one people pay attention to) had LSU in front.

yes, Sagarin has LSU in front for its overall ranking. The SOS ranking is to the right.
SAGARIN:

SCHEDL(RANK)
LSU 74.25( 23)
A&M 76.19( 12)

A&M's SOS is #12, LSU #23.

ANDERSON SPORTS:
Sched. Sched.
Strength Rank
LSU .575 12
A&M .594 4

ALSO, to all you aggies saying the LSU passing offense vs. the A&M passing defense is a "push", I say that JJ played MUCH better down the stretch. He was on fire against Bama, put up more than 250 yards against Ole Miss, and played well enough to win the game against Arkansas.

Our passing game will be fine. Keep believing that your pathetic passing defense, which ranks 8th in the Big XII and gives up 240 yards per game, will stop us. I would really like your secondary to believe we can't pass, too. Please.

That is a complete cliche and not at all true. We have teams like Auburn, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Florida running spreads that hurry up the pace. Even LSU runs a little hurry up.

Auburn is by far the "fastest" team in the SEC at #28 with 71 plays/game. Half of the Big 12 (A&M, OU, OSU, Tex, Tech, and Baylor) average more snaps per game than Auburn. A&M averages 81 plays/game.

Also, I would contend that 7 extra plays per game does not explain away the disparity in defensive rankings.

LSU averages 302 YPG allowed. A&M 357 YPG allowed for a grand total of 55 yards difference. There's an average of 13 extra plays per game between A&M's opposing teams and LSU's opposing teams. If you don't think 13 plays are relevant to a difference fo 55 yards per game, then we can agree to disagree.
