Obviously, Louisiana is not known as a QB powerhouse. Who is projected to be our next elite QB prospect? I'm talking Ryan P. level elite. Do we have one?

I think there's a kid that's a true freshman or sophomore that is apparently pretty special.

I heard that QB Bill Brasky is going to be special

The problem with louisiana is that instead of putting the best qb out on the field they put the best athlete at the qb position!!! If we want a pure qb we need to grab from other states!!! Unless the athlete is freakish like cam newton then we can work with him haha! But it will probably be a while before a true qb comes out of la.

qb talent in a state the size of louisiana is cyclical. i remember when bert jones, joe ferguson and terry bradshaw came out of high school the same year. our problem is we have 4 million people while houston metro alone is 6 million.

There is not many good hs QB coaches in Louisiana. Not many that teach good fundamentals, so most teams just put their best athletes back there or run these air raid "system" offenses where the QB's aren't really prepared for the next level. Name me some good fundamental Louisiana High School QB coaches. Someone that can teach good passing mechanics.

Agree with you on some of those. Bachman yes, Deas yes, Meeks yes, McCarty Maybe, the rest I don't know. We are not talking about "system guys" How many Mike Leach QB's are in the NFL? None-zero, because they are system guys who were not developed to be the total QB.
