I just watched it for the first time and I must say the plot and story was great (absolutely LOVED the twist), but the nonsensically incessant action sequences (and CGI which looked to be done by a third grader) ruined this movie. And seriously? An invisible car?

I now see why they decided to reboot the franchise.

The ice parasailing scene, Madonna, the Aston Martin "Vanish," and the assistant doing his Chico Marx imitation, "Hey, boss, he broke-a your record," ruin all the good-great aspects of this movie.

The film was so campy and so stupid, it's the Bond equivalent of Batman and Robin.

The bad guy that doesn't sleep (really? That's his superpower? Insomnia?), the invisible car, the big castle made of ice, the crappy cgi, the over-the-top action sequences, it's painful just to think about.

And Bond hitting on Madonna. Gross.

I mean you kind of redeemed yourself by what you said after. But that was pretty funny.
Other than the name and Halle Berry in a bathing suit (which isn't that special bc you typically get plenty of hot chicks in every Bond movie) there was nothing great about this movie.
It's so bad it's not even fun, that's hard to do with a Bond movie.

I'm a big Brosnan fan but this one was by far the worst he did.

I wasn't a big fan of the villain. Like others said the cgi sucked. I did like the car chases in ice but the ice house was lame.

Most of the Roger Moore ones are just as bad as Die Another Day.

I would rather watch Die again over Solace of the Quantum Exploding Hotel in the Middle of Nowhere.

Of all the things wrong with this movie, which was pretty much everything, the ice house was not a problem for me. Hell, there are multiple ice hotels around the world that are open only during the winter time.

I agree. Roger Moore's last three Bond films were probably the worst of the series. He had gotten too old for the role.

Your fail is a fail.

Quantum was the most ridiculous Bond film ever. Water? Withholding water from poor people? Yeah, that is going to make you a rich man.

And exploding 5 star hotel in the middle of absolute nowhere?

The movie blows chunks. It was horrendous and I would rather be chained down on the floor and have my eyes forced open

to watch 15 straight showings of Moonraker, than watch Quantum ever again.

I fully admit that my hatred is biased because I loved Casino so damn much and they went right back to everything that was wrong with the previous 700 bond films.
