This invention has saved my hunt many more times than I could have ever thought of. Especially where I hunt; far south Alabama.

Exactly, in bow season last year, I walked into the stand and had skeeters following me the whole way. When I got settled in my climber, I fired it up and didn't get one bite.

On warm days in the woods of the St. Charles Community, a ThermaCELL is standard equipment. You just can't leave home without it.

A question for you thermacell users
Will it work if you are constantly moving or do you need to be stationary? I'm wondering if it would work while kayaking at night. My speed would be between 4 and 8mph depending on the current. I'm doind a race that will require me to paddle through the night for several days and I've heard the mosquitoes can be very bad.
TIA

A lady invented it somewhere around 2000 or so.... i was working at a reputible gun/hunting store the day she brought them by to see if we would bye some from her. She gave us 2 to try, we went into the woods they worked extremely well we bought them.... not saying we started the trend, but were some of the first to use them down here.... we were the only place you could get them for a while, until that bitch got into academy and walmarks..... now shes a rich bitch....

I doubt it would work. For that situation I'd use Deep Woods OFF.
Thermacells work great on deer stands. They don't scare the deer off either.

put a little doe piss on the patch, it will actually keep mosquitos and draw in deer!

I've been waiting on the doe estrus insert. The earth cover scent works pretty good I guess. Of course there'd probably be a lawsuit when some rutted up buck attacks and fornicates some helpless hunter.
I couldnt have hunted without mine saturday. When I first got out there the wind was still and man I swarmed with skeeters as soon as I got in the stand.
