If you want a quick bite to eat, Cafe Cafe is always a good option, but they stop serving at 8. They have really good sandwiches, wraps, salads, coffee, etc.

depends really on how much you want to spend...a couple of my regulars were acme oyster house and drago's (lived in wm and didn't really get good seafood up there too often)....I also was not above cruising to salvo's seaafood in belle chasse for some very casual boiled seafood...

Shogun for some pretty good Japanese food. I've been twice, and always had a good crowd.

But, I don't know how it compares to everything else (i.e. glass' recommendations).

When did they reopen?

I used to go there all the time with my parents growing up, but I have lived in BR for the last 8 yrs so I am not informed of the N.O. food scene anymore.
