more risk is put into the offense which forces the defense to have to clean up any messes. Gives them less time to rest and may produce more short fields than you'd like.

solid point but our o already gives them no time to rest and puts pressure on them because they can't score. so we had a little more risk for turnovers which we already do enough of anyways but we had way more points. it allows our d to have a little more room for messing up.

like i said we probably give up a few more points per game but with a better offense thats not really a big deal.

this point was a lot better than mot just saying have you seen his d's at tech.

...or by jumping out to an early 14-17 point lead it forces the other teams offense to adjust to keep up, thus taking more chances, thus making it easier on the defense
