so did OU and we have a better and harder schedule then them
we lost to number 1 and number 8

I agree...thought we'd be lower as well.

Who cares where OU is? If they win the Big 12 they'd be ahead of us anyways. If they lose they will drop behind us. Don't know why that bothers people.

I was surprised we were that high to be honest b/c of where Arky was when we played them and where we fell to in the coaches polls. Once again the computers saved us.

What difference does it make?
The loss yesterday appeared to validate what many have thought most of the year: LSU survives games and is not an impressive 10 win team. Defense may win games but offense is what gives you style points. Our offense was fuxking awful.
We got a lot of credibility for being in the SEC and taking on WV and UNC.

It really don't matter at this point. LSU isn't playing in a BCS game. 10th or 7th, no difference right now.

Oklahoma is the only team LSU arguably deserves to be in front of as it is. That would move them up to 9. Wouldn't make a difference either way since the BCS only takes two teams max from any conference and those teams will probably be Auburn and Arkansas.

True, and the computers have OU 6th and LSU 7th; so you can flip them and it really doesn't matter unless one team is trying to be in BCS auto-bid range like Stanford.
