I didnt watch the game, but was listening to it on ESPN radio at work. It was mentioned at least 5 times that A&M had the toughest schedule in the nation.

Without doing a google search on A&M's schedule, I wouldnt think it would be any tougher than LSU's. The Big12 seems down this year too. I think the SEC is a little weaker than in year's past too, but not to the extent the Big12 is. I dont recall who A&M played OOC.

SEC has 4 teams in the top 12. two in the top 5.

Big12 has 1 team in the top 12.

It isn't tougher than LSU's. Only decent OOC game was Arkansas and they played one FCS team.

Definitely a solid schedule, but no tougher than LSU's.

The Big12 is statistically very good this year and was objectively rated above the SEC most of the season. On top of that they play Arky OOC (who we haven't played YET).

I think LSU plays a tougher schedule, but it isn't ridiculous to suggest otherwise.

Playing a tough schedule isn't very telling. It's who you beat. Losing to a very good team is still a loss.

It's a little different in the SEC this year with UGA, Florida, and Tenn all down at the same time.

But Texas is horrible, and Missouri is a paper tiger IMO.

Anyone who thinks the sec is down this year is a Meauxron. Teams like Miss State ,South Carolina, Kentucky and Arkansas are better than usual. Even Auburn and LSU from the last 2 or 3 years.
