You know, I have just about reached the threshold of what I can take in regard to commercial breaks during a football game. It seemed extra annoying yesterday. I don't watch near as much football on TV anymore for that reason. I was at the game yesterday and many in the crowd started to make some noise during the extra long breaks.

But the first tv timeout with 14:00 left in the first quarter after the Ole Miss turnover was definitely neccessary.

It is annoying. I sync up the radio to the TV and listen to WWL, and I'm screaming...they're kicking, they're kicking, where's the game? All of a sudden it pops on at the very last second. I hate it.

CBS was into double figures for commercial breaks by halftime yesterday. The guy who wears the red hat to signal the referees that television wants a timeout got more time on the field than LSU's offense yesterday. At least it seemed that way.

Its the worst when there was an injury on a 3rd down play. CBS take a 4 minute break, comes back for the punt then takes another 4 minute commercial.

Cbs has made attending a game unbearable.

I understand the need for commercial breaks and tv timeouts, but Yesterday was the worst I have seen in a long time. Was very frustrated, even by the end of the 1st quarter. Knew we were in trouble when Ole Miss turned the ball over 1 min into the game and CBS took a 4 min break.

The guy who wears the red hat
I talked to him on the sidelines before the game yesterday. He was pretty cool. I said, " You know that everybody in the stadium really hates you, right?"
He was well aware of this fact, and stated that his salary for standing on the field 20 times a game more than makes up for the anger of 92,000 people. He had a sense of humor about it. Thought it was funny.

CBS actually was a factor when I decided to pass my 40 yd line season tickets down to my nephew after the 07 season. That last Arkansas game was 4 hours old before the OT started, that is ridiculous. Espn seems to move the games along because they have another one ready to go on, CBS just wants to wring every nickel they can out of it.

Its a shame when everyone around you at the game is praying a hurt player gets off the field quickly so as not to give CBS another reason to go to commercial.
Yesterday was horrendous. I told my son afterwards I don't believe I could handle another CBS game again.
The worst was when Ole Miss called a timeout before the 2 pt conversion. CBS went to commercial then and after the conversion. Fans were literally screaming their lungs out after that shite.
