All defeated by a squeeze of the trigger. They are a semi-auto that needs to be treated as a revolver. Nothing wrong with that just don't lead people to believe that they have a traditional selectable safety.

ETA: I own a Ruger P90 and it is by far my least favorite handgun. Not very ergonomic. My H&K USP is a million times better.

I've got the P89 and I couldn't agree more. It has some sentimental value, it was my first hand gun bought about 20 years ago. But it's not pleasant to shoot.
