The poll is the current featured poll on LINK . What is the best 1 loss team in the country. Surprisingly, we have majority of the votes in Texas and up the east coast.

Consider this.// ..if the coach's voted LSU 5th place and the Harris voters placed LSU 5 ...WE WOULD BE RANKED OVERALL PROBABLY 4 OR 3 IN THE BCS.....they did not want us to jump Boise or TCU....just a thought....

There is also a poll asking if there is any way LSU could play for the BCS title without playing in the SEC championship game. Every state says no except Louisiana.
