They shouldn't take him to the stadium, just let him stay in his digs.

Kids and I got to his cage around 1pm Sat, there was no Mike but a trainer in his cage picking up poo and she said they were trying to get him in the trailer(or at least that is what someone said). Well he didn't show in the stadium and did not show the whole day in his cage (at least from about 1:30 till after the walking down the hill parade) so the fans got zilch on seeing him on game day.

well there are 364 other days in the year you can go see him. sorry the jungle cat didn't do what you wanted him to do.

It has often been said that when opposing players first visit LSU -- one of the surprises they get is coming out of their locker room and bammmm - there is Mike the Tiger staring them down.

Now nobody really believes LSU is going to turn a tiger lose on the opposing players... but it does make an impression.

Case in point --- last week I was in Hawaii -- went to a golf course and a guy asks, "Copper Mill golf club - where's that?" (it was on my shirt) -- so I say, just outside Baton Rouge, LA.... he says, I played football for WY and played at LSU twice. I asked, "was it a good experience, playing at LSU?" -- He says, "we'll the first time it shocked the hell out of me when I walked out the locker room and there was a tiger there to greet us"....
