I never said he is a freshman. I said he is a FIRST YEAR player.

for one dumbass, i would NOT want a freshman as my quarterback. Murray is a very good qb at georgia, but he was horrible half the year and they are 5-6 under him....and he is red-shirt. When i see statements like this on here, it tells me what i'm dealing with from posters.

However, mett is not a freshmen, he would come in with three years under his belt and have a year of experience in juco...plus a redshirt year at georgia.

for one dumbass,

Was that necessary? Have any of my previous posts provided you any reason to call me names?

What statement are you referring too? No where did I advocate starting a freshman QB.

Hey Wil, like me you're more accustomed to the civilized debate of the poli board. The rant is full of fools like Tigerfan 128.

We may land Zach, but you can forget about GC. If we are 11-1 lets say, and we win our bowl game. No way they let him go. If we are lucky, he may find somewhere else to coach. But force him out after that kind of a season aint happening.

I'm OK at best but Jay's a real jerk. The thing that riled me is the unnecessary name calling. I don't have time or the inclination to follow recruiting so I didn't know this kid's status. When I was informed by someone who did know I was grateful for the info and acknowledged the poster. No where did I say a Freshman should be starting at QB. I said I doubt if any freshman QB could unseat JJ or JL. And for that I'm called a dumbass.

I'm certainly not thin skinned but at least allow me to supply you with a valid reason for the derogatory attacks in the future.

Zach Lee would never have seen the field this year and probably would be on the bench again next year behind our inept QBs. JJ in particular is clueless. Imagine stating how well the passing game was last night.

Its only your humanitarian work in Hati that prevents me from calling you a dumbass. Nice work BTW.

The fans or our defense (including D coaching staff)

This years defense would go down as the best or 2nd best, if we'd had an offense that could rank in the top 50. I really hope that our defense will continue to bust it's butt in the off season to be as good as we are this season. Next year can really be special with Mattenberger, a good OC and a defense that performs to the level of this years!

Happy to see Crowton go (I think there's an 80% chance of this anyway) but Zach M. will not start over JJ/Lee. Ain't happening.

Mett will not be a freshman and he won't be a junior. He redshirted at GA and played one year of JUCO. He will be a 3rd year sophomore. There is no reason not play him if he is the best qb, he can't get another year of eligibility (unless severely injured early in the season).

I'd like to accept your praise but there's nothing humanitarian about the effort. While our presence is of benefit to the Haitians we're still motivated by the ROI on the project.

After multiple trips to the island the only positive thing I have to say is that the French aide workers are hot and quick to come out of their clothes on the beach.

Apologies to the OP for the Hijack.

Heard a lot of that a couple of years ago with Shep this, Shep that. The guy is a high school football player today...if you're banking on him to be the savior I've got some property I want to sell you.

I stand corrected. Juco. The rest stands.

Jai - do you play QB? Jai - are u playing on offense? Miles doesn't like 1st year offensive players. Chavis doesn't have this hang up.

and everyone swears everything will be great with Crowton gone. why the hell would such a GREAT head coach let such a terrible offensive coordinator call plays for two years? i remember people calling for the pitching and hitting coaches heads under Smoke Laval as well, but Smoke had "the SEC's best winning percentage". it starts at the top people.

The sooner people realize that the offensive staff is the problem, the better off they'll be.

Very rarely does a football team have a great pass/ run defense, great pass/ run offense, and great special teams. We have a great pass/ run defense, great special teams, and a solid running attack. Crowton doesn't need to be fired just because we do not have an excellent passing game as well. We aren't going to be perfect in every aspect of the game. So get a grip!
