Um, no. They've been down for about 15 years, but they still have more national titles than anyone. And even if Kelly turns out not to be "the guy", they'll probably get desperate and do what Alabama did, and hire a really big name and re-set the high end of coaching salaries. I doubt they'll become irrelevant anytime soon, unless a whole boatload of teams win 12 national titles or however many they have.

young stud black athletes dont give a shite about the gipper or what happened in the 40's... they want warm weather, nice facilities and white girls who put out

notre dame can only provide one of those things

Sure, they were a dominant program in the 40s, but in the last 30 years they've won 1 national title (1988). shite, since 1950 they only have 1 more than LSU
