Tim Jernigan=Not sold on interior, after Nevis is gone.
Mettenberger=no explanation needed.
Maggit= Need someone to replace Shepp, and we've only got one LB on-board.
Rasco= Doubt Sam is the same,next year.
Greg Robinson= Want to get AU out of La.

The ones I think are under serious consideration as part of this class are: Mett, Jernigan, Rasco, Robinson, Maggit, OBJ, Drew, Brisset, Johnson, and Bridgewater (one you forgot on your list).

I'm more interested in locking down the state. We do need Mettenberger but we're 8-1 with Lee and Jefferson so maybe they'll be a little better next year.

Yep. I do. Can't tell you who though. It could be any 1-2 guys out of a pretty long list of solid prospects but I think we'll be pleased with the LB class this year.

You forgot Kendall Thompson and Bridgewater
With that in mind, I want:

Mettenberger (Good Juco guy who can come in and contribute right away)
Thompson (Big hitter that resembles a lot already of what Sheppard does)
Rasco (Unsure of how strong Montgomery comes back)
OBJ (The hands of Shepard leave the slot position open still)
Bridgewater/Brissett (Two great, highly athletic QBs who know how to win)
Robinson (Great O-line class currently could get a lot better with his high ceiling)

great teams are built from the inside out. give me the dominant lineman and the qb first. I pick brisset over Mett due to long term gain. i think your program is more stable with high school guys. i understan mett helps next year. i'm willing to trade next season's potential for the next four season's potential.
