I know CBS will also carry the UGA/Ga Tech game so I didn't know what the protocol would be since we always used to play them on Friday.

The paper this morning speculates CBS will pick the game up.

CBS gets a doubleheader that day (11am and 2:30). no way they pass us up with a shot to go to the BCS

Well, if they take the Auburn Alabama game on that friday, isn't that considered "the game of the week?" Thus, they wouldn't be able to take one on Saturday?

I believe CBS has the UGA-Ga Tech game this year. (Or maybe it's the UF-FSU game?). I forget how this arrangement works.

It is always 2:30 at Arkansas. It almost seems like tradition to me

No. Historically, they aired LSU-Arkansas on Friday and then the Iron Bowl on Saturday. They get a game each day. They'll simply reverse the order.

C'mon fellas...........be for real. You know dam well CBS will stop at nothing to prevent us from participating in ANY night game against ANY SEC team thats worth anything on our schedule.

As long as LSU is a decent to good team with a loose cannon at coach, we will NEVER have a big time SEC night game at home. Maybe not even on the road.

Think about it. Does anyone foresee us playing Bama, Auburn or Florida at nite for the next 3 years?

Arky plays most of their home games in the afternoon. The piggies can't see well at night and the old hillbillies can't see too well to drive at night because all that rot gut moonshine ruined their vision.
