If i started telling ya'll storys about all the open sight kills ya'll would think I am the biggest liar you have ever heard.
I will tell this one because it's probably the best one. When I was a teenager we would ride around at night and shoot rabbits or varmits. One night we spotted a skunk in a pasture off the road. I was using my friends High Standard .22 auto pistol. I shot that skunk open sights at night at 150+ yards, one shot!
I have killed a deer with a muzzle loader at 125yds.
I'll add another, my first squirrel was killed with an sigle shot, open sight, .22 at 50yds or so.

Running coyote at just over 100 yards. .22, took 3 or 4 shots I think.

I shot a doe last year with my Howa .270 at 318 yards, I have my gun sighted in at an inch high dead on at 100 yards, i put the cross hairs right on top of her back and hit her right behind the front shoulder.

A nutria at 132 yds with a 22 open sight. 2 shots, 1st in thigh 2nd head shot. Droped dead. Marked it with a range finder. With a 300 Weatherby mag Scoped, I hit a human silhouette at 950 yds in the head... Since were bragging.

Yep, posted before noticing that the question was asking about open sights.
my furthest with open sights was 115 yards with a 30-30, it was the 3rd shot so it really wasn't that impressive.

Common grackle at over 100 yards with a Benjamin pump .177. I did not really even aim. I just held WAY over him and shot for the frick of it. Fell dead as a hammer.
