What defines Miles:

1) Including 2007 - 6 wins and 7 losses vs. group AU, UM, Bama and Ark.

2) Hasn't beaten a team ranked higher than his since GT in the 08' Peach. Before that OSU in the NC game.

We only win the ones we are supposed to. The fact that we are almost always close in big game defeats has kept him around this long.

All this said, I do believe tomorrow is an inflection point for Miles - win it and he keeps his job. period. Lose it and the door creeps open.

What defines Miles:

We each see things in our own way and nothing says my way is the right way.

I'm more a results guy than a process guy. So, I find 58-16, the 2nd most SEC wins in the last 5 years and 8 games, 5 yrs of NR in 5 yrs and 8 games, as many SEC west titles as any school in the last 5 years, a 4-5 record vs the best two coaches in the SEC for the last 5 yrs and 8 games, 4-1 bowl record, A current Top 10 BCS ranking, and a NC as a pretty dang fine college football coaching resume on the whole.

I fully understand that the success of the program is not currently at the 07 level.

Others see it different and that's ok.

According to all the experts, we weren't supposed to beat florida on the road this year. Hell even most LSU fans were conceding that to the gators before the season.

Damn, I hate having to defend Miles.
