Use flat rice bran or even a local brand and save.

never used it. I have used deer cane and they ate big arse holes in the ground everywhere I put it out.

all we use is rice bran as well

I may be in the minority on this one. But that stuff does work. We mixed it up in a sprayer (the concentrate) and sprayed on some vegetation and the deer ate it down to the dirt and then ate the dirt. Brother killed a good buck that came to it during daylight hours. walked right past corn and rice bran and went to where we sprayed it.So I do believe that it can certainly help. IMO

Ever try the rice bran pellets? I picked up a sack of them at the feed store this week along with 100 lbs of soybeans

South LA feed and seed on main street in Houma. I work not far from there. My dad always uses Raceland Ag though.

Never tried the stuff but always wanted to. Is the liquid or powder supposed to work better, in general?
Posted on 11/3/10 at 9:46 pm to hehatedrew
I tried the liquid one time and it spooked deer, never used again.
IMO C'Mere deer is not worth the money.

I've just never had any luck with "attractants" that weren't food plots or corn
Posted on 11/3/10 at 9:51 pm to hehatedrew
Yeah it works if you use it the way it says to on the bottle. I like using the liquid form IMO.

Thanks, I may have to give this a shot sometime this year

But that stuff does work.
Deer Cane is primarily Salt, Baking Soda, and Sugar mixture. I have a friend here in Bham who is a chemist and they got bored at work one day and broke down the shite. Not sure how that works, but this is what he told me.
I mix mineral salt and white salt in a front end loader and put it in holes. Deer have dug some big arse holes over the years.

Cmere deer 3 Day Harvest is LEGIT.. It's pellet, powder and grain. Deer love it.

ive used it a few times. like offshoretrash said, it spokes most of the deer. go with a salt lick

Legit. We got the liquid kind. Taste that shite before you put it out. Sweet as hell. We poured it on our mineral blocks and the deer tore them up.
I haven't used it while hunting yet, but over the summer they tore anything up we put it on.
