I know that this weather has got everybody tuned in to everything, but do we have a shot against the Tide??

Running Game--by far the biggest disparity between both teams. Talent wise, I think we are close, but we have not proven how we are or can be like T.R. and M.I. have.

Passing Game--the biggest problem for both teams. But, if we can stop J.J and at least be consistent in moving the ball(Florida), then this game could be close.

Special Teams--Derek Helton finally earned his scholarship last week in my eyes!! ANd if they make the mistake of kicking to us, something good will happen. We also need Jasper to hit a couple of long field goals to keep it close(40+).

Im not so sure about this. Ridley was leading the SEC in rushing.

Of course we can, but I'd say Bama wins 6 out of 10 times.

Of course we have a shot! Should be a good defensive game.

Yes.
Will LSU beat Alabama?
Not likely without improvement in the offense...

Yes we can! If our defense can keep them under 17.

I see the opposite happening, actually. I would bet the score ends up something more like 31-28 or higher.. Great insight, i know. But i just have a feeling the offense will put some points up this week.

Do the wild card SF Giants have a chance to win the world series against teams like the Phillies and Rangers?

Yes. But LSU must play a near perfect game & Bama will have to play its worst. LSU can not make the same dumb mistakes & turnovers like they have the last few years.
It must take advantage of any good field position that Alabama may give them. Something they couldn't do the entire second half at Auburn.
Perhaps most importantly, LSU has to match the physical play that Alabama is going to employ. LSU was whipped on both sides of the ball at Auburn. Last year at Bama, several LSU players had to be helped off the field. I believe that Bama is confident that they can come in here, and continue to hit LSU in the mouth, and wear the Tigers down.
It sounds dirty and will result in a flag, but early in the game, I'd have one of our guys knock the hell out of Ingram Richardson, Jones, or McElroy. Hit him late or if he's going out of bounds just to let them know we aren't going to play soft.

of course.

it can go either way.

so many things will happen so fast, its a combination of preparation, skill, luck and physical ordeal.

Its a long game and guys get tired. LSU has to move the ball in the first half or the D will get beat up eventually.

If its close at the end, I think LSU will win. I think if the game were played 10 times, Bama would win by double digits a few times. But a few times LSU would win. 4 for LSU, and 6 for Bama.

Bama is 9.5 points stronger in Sagarin's Pure Points predictor.

Home field is worth 3.

So.. Bama is favored 6.5 for purposes of betting.
But that is not a lock.
A road game to LSU is not a lock.
So.. yes.
