Who do you think you are, Choctaw, the most interesting poster on The Rant? Saban made an "attempt" to recruit RP, so your strawman argument doesn't hold water. RP was trouble. Saban didn't just "attempt" to recruit RP.

RP was also recruited by FSU, Miami, UT, and Mississippi State.

Don't sit here and pretend that other coaches were geniuses because they didn't go after RP because it's just false and makes you look stupid. RP had no history of trouble before he got to college.
