Why are people actually lending credence to this possibility? Because he's Saban? Miles has recruited great and every person with a pulse realizes our lack of quarterback depth or ability. He's not going to Bama.

It's not being a prick. People think that the depth at Bama alludes to the possibility that he simply wants to get in his ear and influence him elsewhere. Similar to Joe McKnight and Bebe with OM. He's not going to Bama.

He's already stated he doesn't really have time for a 3rd visit (just two scheduled: Tex A&m & LSU) He hasn't ruled out the possibility, but it's unlikely because it would have to be during the xmas holidays, and would take time away fromm his family.
Plus, he is really serious about Tex A&M for some odd reason (I think there's no probable starter next year). So even if it makes more sense to look at Bama ahead of a Tex A&M, this kid thinks out of the box.
Also, his dad has attended a couple of LSU games so far (I wanna say Florida).

I imagine the pressure would be so great on Les that not playing him would be tantamount to him firing himself.

I wouldn't doubt it. I'd offer five QB's a year to make sure I get to play against the second worst quarterback in the country (Jordan Jefferson) every year.
