Who should be playing over T-Bob?

Is there somebody that we have that should be playing guard that is not?
He had a bad game against Auburn, terrible even, but I think this reactionary bullshite is tiresome.
Is he a great OL? No.
But he was quietly having a pretty good year until Saturday.
So. . .who do we have that should be starting over him?

I wouldn't mind seeing Faulk play RT and Hurst move to RG.

Can Hurst play guard?
Is Faulk ready to start?

Hurst played guard last year. I honestly think he should have been playing instead of Hitt. Faulk has been pretty good when he has been in the game.
I understand what you are saying about T Bob. He catches too much crap, I just don't think he makes for a big enough guard. Same thing with Josh D. Our guards are smaller than our tackles for whatever reason.

Obviously, everyone would prefer to have Blackwell back. Since that is not possible, I would feel much better seeing which of these 2 possibilities works better: either move Hurst to guard & have Faulk play tackle, or put Williford at guard. Also, Josh D did not play very well vs. Auburn either at the other guard position.

Faulk is ready to start. They have been grooming him to take over Barksdale's spot when he graduates after this year

Will Blackwell. He got hurt first game of the year against UNC.

Josh d fricking soft too. It really showed against auburn. Put hurst at rg and Faulk at tackle
This is why i didn't understand them letting parsons go as he would have been playing a lot this year

When did they "let Parsons go?"
I thought he was on medical hardship? And playing fullback for that matter.

They tried Williford many times after Blackwell went down. He even got the start for at least two games.

Well with Miles stating that last yrs Offensive line was the best he has had since he's been at LSU puts a damper as to who should be playing and who is playing...where's the judge of talent coming from..oh what a mystery...

Any guard asked to block Nick Fairley this year is going to "suck." That is a NFL d-lineman playing in college.
T-Bob is not as small as he is listed and is arguably the smartest lineman we have and plays with a high motor. It is the coaching staffs job to implement the best blocking schemes to combat the d-line's strengths.

I don't care who plays..just get someone else. Put someone in until you find the right piece. Might be some walkon, but hell..if he wants to play and proves it on the field let him.

again:
IF you wanted to experiment, you would first put Faulk in at OG rather than sliding Hurst inside. Inexperienced guys benefit from being sheltered. Next year, who knows.
I say:
Hurst - RT
Blackwell - RG
Lonergan - OC
Josh D - LG
Faulk - LT
T-Bob, Wilford, Shaw, et al backing them up......notice that Collins isn't mentioned as I believe he will be RS'd (hardest position for a true frosh to play in college is Oline).
To the guys who are absolutely sure T-Bob sucks, please support your assertion with fact not a trendy, dumbass assumption......kid has been doing much better up to Auburn.

True Farley is a bigger D Nevis. Nobody gonna handle him reguardless. Re watch the Arky game. Just destroyed both guards in that game too. One was a 315#.

T-Bob should not be playing bottom line. We have many other players that should be playing. Stud has got to go because he is part of the problem. The line has sucked since he started coaching. What did Bobby give LSU to have his son starting? Hitt should have never played for 3 years. Its BS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Faulk, Shaw, Washington, Wiliford to name a few.

Where is Williford? He played decently earlier in the year.
Farley is going to beat a lot of people. My question is why didn't T-Bob get some help. Double him with the center or tackle and add a TE or leave a FB in to pass protect. That's high school stuff!
