I know, I know, one more OC thread. But this question didn't seem to quite fit into any of the existing ones.

Let's say we get a new OC at the end of the year (let's even say it's before the bowl game).

Let's further say that the guy hired is a top notch OC.

To carry it even one step further, let's say it Miles keeps hands off the offense.

Given all of those factors, how long would it take for the guy to turn it around? What would next year look like?

Seems like the Chief improved things the first year he was here but not all the way (and Judging by the Auburn game the D does not seemto be all the way there even now).

Would there be a learning curve? Could our top offensive athletes pick up a whole new system in the offseason? Could the OC conform his system to the talent we have here now?

What do ya'll think?

I think we'd FLOURISH. I mean FLOURISH. Crowton runs the absolute worst offense possible

Well it will look worse than it does now. Les will hire a oc that likes what he likes to call. mickey mouse plays. i wish crowton good luck because les is going to try and save his job by fireing gary. this will be two oc's in a row he has fired or ran off. who's next ???

I'm not sure how talented our O-Line players are. If they're good, but have just been poorly coached, and we get that ex-UGA QB, than a good OC could turn it around immediately.

Again, I wonder if some of our highly rated recruits have been overrated, or under-coached.
