I'm happy with 7-1

After being infinitely frustrated and pissed off over the weekend, I'm over the loss to Auburn, and have realized that 7-1 is a damn strong record going into November
Most of the wins weren't pretty, but so what
Lesticles gets his guys to play hard and has had his team in a position to win every game this year
que the negativity......

I dont think anyone's really upset with the record, its the product on the field and on the sidelines.

the real question is will you still be happy with 7-2? and maybe 9-3 when all is said and done?

I'll take 2-1 against Bama, OM, and Arky
1-2, not so much
1-2, not so much

Unfortunately, Les agrees with you and does not mind the shabby way we barely got by inferior teams...

The product that is responsible for 7-1?

The OP had better celebrate while he can.
When I look closely at the 7 teams we have beaten, I have to shudder at what we have coming up. Its fixin' to get ugly. I had hoped for a 9-3 season but 8-4 is looking more realistic.

How can anybody who has watched games this ear be happy with the way the team has played or the way it has been coached.
Yeah, 7-1 is great, but do you really trust this coaching staff to have the team not finish 9-3 or 8-4.
And while those may be decent records, when you start 7-0, you don't expect to finish with 3-4 losses. Typical late season meltdown from Miles and crew.

I am happy with 7-1 also. In fact i am ecstatic. With our coaching this year we are EXTREMELY lucky not to be 5-3.

well, the Tigers lost to the current #1 team on the road by one score
and they had the ball with great field position in a tied game late in the 4th .... they are that close from being undefeated 1 or 2 in the BCS
and yes, I'm fully aware they could just as easily be 4-4

The thing I'm looking forward to most is how the players respond to the Auburn loss. They only get this opportunity once in their life and it's right in front of them. The team can win against Bama. One player cannot.

Well the trend of Les Miles coached teams the last 2 years is to completely crumble after the first defeat. Tell me why we shouldn't expect more of the same.

I'm happy with 7-1, but I know we should be 8-0. That's what pisses me off!
