Personally, LSU could've played worse, but they gave up a few key plays. TT dropped really key balls, so quit blaming everyone else for a team effort/failure. We shut Newton down the first half, but gave up some key runs, other than that, we played very strong on defense, but our offense needs a lot of work. We have great talent.

Take a peek at the box score, and you'd think this game wasn't close. Auburn outgained LSU 526-243. Auburn outrushed LSU 440-115. Neither of LSU's quarterbacks managed even 50 yards passing. The turnovers were even at one apiece, so there wasn't any Les Miles magic going on. Auburn possessed the ball almost five minutes longer than LSU did, and at just 69 combined yards, penalties had a muted effect.
Some people confuse realistic with unhappy. Doesn't take a negative person to see what happened Saturday.

I'm personally happier in this loss than I was in most of our wins this season.I know this doesn't make a lot of since to so,me of ya'll, but it's my opinion.

I was just thrilled the score was as close as it was. LSU was blown out of the stadium, it could have been much much worse.

Yes. Very happy overall....it's obvious to me that the QB position is the problem. Defense, run, sped teams are great....

So, the talented LSU receivers need to be coached the concept that they should catch passes that hit them in both hands?

I wouldn't say I'm "happy" but I'm going to wait and see how the rest of the season develops before I completely lose my shite.

LSU will win 2 of the next 4. They will finish the season 9-3 and will go to a bowl game. It may not be for the National Cgampion but hell only 2 teams can fight for that. Les is not a bad coach. We could have a lot worst...ala Curly Harmon or Mike Archer. I would love to be in a bowl the majority of the time.
