Look everyone, this was a brutal, very tough loss, to be sure.

No excuses are necessary; Auburn just outplayed us, plain and simple. We lost to what is probably the most pyhsical offensive team in the country- by a touchdown.

But the season is not over- not by a longshot. This can still be considered a VERY successful year. It's time to get ready for a very tough game at home in the next two weeks, and yes- anything can still happen.

Hang in there, guys. We all hate what happened, but it's history now. Time to regroup, and get ready for what is sure to be a monumental challenge on Nov. 6.

Keep your heads up. We still have a helluva lot to play for.

The frustration comes from the fact that some issues with this football team are inexcusable.

Examples
1). Either there is no SEC caliber QB on the team (Who is responsible for that)

2). Or that QB doesnt get enough practice/playing time

3) Playcalling in general

4) Yet again ,more breakdowns on the O line.

5) More ridiculous timeouts only to immediately be followed by a comedy of errors and/or a penalty.

A major let down was Defense.

Chavis lost the game for us and was so illprepared and refused to make adjustments.

Chavis earned a lot of respect from the fans with the way the D was playing so far this season. But he laid a major egg this weekend.

FIFY. That's being honest.

The fact is this: If we'd have played shitty and still won, none of this would matter.

Like I said- I won't take away anything from them- they simply had our number Saturday. I don't see ANY defense- with the possible exception of the Pittsburg Steelers- stopping that guy.

idiotic....the 3 and out offense didn't help the matter at all...keeping the #1 offense in the SEC off the field didn't happen, thanks to the 100th best offense in the country...

Auburn was going to get points, the D didnt get a bit of help from the O

the d was weak. the d and o both lost this game. the only part of our team that did a mother fricking thing was the punt coverage team

Okay. Call be crazy, but I have this strange feeling that many of those same people would have noticed the difference between sqeaking by Tennessee at home VS sqeaking by the #4, unbeaten team in the country ON THE ROAD- but whatever you say.

Then again- maybe they wouldn't....

Yep. This one's going to hurt for a while....

Oh- I've got my gripes, too. Like why were we rushing 4 guys THE ENTIRE GAME??? We never took any chances on the QB- and he cleaned our clock. You let him get past the line of scrimmage and.....well, you all saw what I saw.

He didn't hurt us throwing the ball- HE DIDN'T F**KING HAVE TO....

Why we didn't AT LEAST bring in a few blitz packages and FORCE him to throw is just....beyond me....

Not even close. Talk to me on November 6th. Miles has 2 weeks to figure out his 3 piece puzzle collection and Bama has 2 weeks to get completely healthy. We can build it up to be a hugh game, but we can not compete based on where we are now.

I love LSU, but I'm also a realist. Sorry if this offends.

miles had 2 weeks to figure out auburn and couldn't do it. so he wont figure out bama with 2 weeks.

we need at least a month to come up with a game plan that is close to worth a shite.

I'm not offended in the least. But based on what I've seen thus far, I just happen to disagree.

If Alabama manages to rush for 400 yards on LSU, I'll be the first to admit I'm wrong. But even with the really great stable of running backs they possess, they do not have the absolute MONSTER that shreaded our defense this past weekend. Just my opinion.
