Tolliver has all the tools to be a big time player but seems to drop 1-2 passes each game that should be caught. BUT, he seems to be the go-to guy on 3rd and 4th down plays and has made almost all those catches. Is is lapses in concentration? Do the two QB's throw different balls (speed, spiral, ect.) With JL at QB, he could be a 6-10 catches per game type of player.

He drops almost everything JJ throws to him, some are tough catches, some arent. I can't explain it.

He has killed more drives this year than anyone. Time to move to other WR's who can catch the ball.

I think all the WR's suffer because they have no timing with the QB's. I think the WR's inconsistent play can be attributed to our inconsistent QB rotation and throws.
Not completely, but I don't think it helps.

Perfect example, the potential touchdown he dropped late from JJ that hit him right in the chest.

JJ can't hit anyone in stride, and he damn near kills our receivers half of the time, so you can't count those. He drops some of JL's ball though... D Bowe used to drop a ton of balls. Maybe TT needs eye surgery, although D Bowe is still dropping passes

It's been discussed before, but when a QB is really inconsistent and doesn't throw in rhythm it makes it difficult on a receiver. You can debate why or why not, but it's usually true at all levels of football.

Kind of like an infielder in baseball with an inconsistent pitcher. The fielders usually make a higher proportion of errors when a pitcher isn't throwing a lot of strikes and the fielders just sit out there and wait.
