Yeah, that was our plan. Chavis' had the Auburn offense on the field so much we tired them out, and only gave up 24 points in the process.

Newton was gasping for breath at the end of each run in that last drive, because he was so worn out by our defensive gameplan. Great defensive gamplan IMO

Auburn's offense had the numbers on us every play. We sat back and waited for the play to come to us and by the time it got there they had guards, tackles and fullbacks taking out our front 7 and we had to rely heavily on DBs to make tackles (not good). Seriously, the play where Newton just stood in the endzone waiting for all his blockers to open up the hole was embarrassing.

It wasn't the scheme as much as the players. We had players in position to make plays most of the time. They simply didn't get AU and Cam to the ground when they had chances.
I thought our DE's didn't play very disciplined.
Late in the 2nd our d was just worn down from the offense shittin the bed, again.
