From Kris Brauner over at Saturday Night Slant.
This is great if you are like me and usually follow recruiting during the off season but not so much during the season. Hell, the guys that do keep up with it will probably find out some stuff they didn't know before.

Love that site. Always good info and analysis there. Also like andthevalleyshook.com

Don't get much more positive than that. I hope the guy is right about everything.

Alot of that stuff jives with things that I have heard so it's either true or we subscribe to the same site.

Good info. Thanks for the update.

Fordham throwing a wrench into the 2011 class, lovely
Also, why is Nick O'Leary such a longshot compared to the other Dwyer two? LSU has had recent TE success with Dickson and Peterson. I know FSU is like the home school, but have they had a lot of production with their TE?

Awesome article for those who aren't keeping up with the recruiting during the season. Although I'm one who follows it all year round, if I was someone who didn't and just read that..I would feel completely up to date.

Yep...been following them for a while over there too. They are very positive about LSU football which I really like.

Does it appear accurate?

Yes
Unless I read over it, its missing a few things, including Ray Drew who I would love to grab..but I'm not sure what the chances are with that.

quote:Fordham might surprise some people. He was a TE in HS and was switched to C by Miles. He's already up to 260. I think this guy is a sleeper to start his junior year after Lonergan leaves. Should be up to 285 or so by then. His scout.com analysis called him a smart player who plays with a nasty streak.

The one thing that cries out to me about this article is NUMBERS! The positive tone of the article is great---but what about LSU's numbers.

Are you saying that is your favorite part of the update?

It's pretty obvious what I'm saying.
If all the LSU leans and a portion of those considering LSU ultimately decide on LSU----how would LSU fit them into the class?

Settle down chief...
This is all just speculation at this point. As the commits start to come in LSU will back off some of the others. LSU has done a great job recruiting so I am pretty sure they can figure it out.

Pretty neat... He asked some of the same questions I had in my post two days ago.
What will happen if Big Mickey and Jernigan want to be tigers? We already have Freak and Q Thomas.

If they both want to come, then Mickey needs to commit before Jernigan does. You take Jernigan no matter what happens if he wants to come, but if Jernigan comes first, the LSU staff may cool on Mickey real quick
