seriously, get your head out of your arse. you do realize if lsu just plays well, you shouldn't have to worry about the officials. its like yall are setting yourselves up for, when we do lose, youll have somebody to blame. if lsu would have played well enough the last few times at auburn, the calls by the officials wouldnt be important.

my guess is yall are all positgiers and just dont want to blame miles for the loss.

The people here in Arkansas are blaming the refs for their loss. The refs did BLOW some BIG calls, but if LSU will take care of business this weekend, the refs should not play a part in the outcome of the game.

I'm not saying it will happen again this year, but I'm not forgetting it happened twice in the last decade.

agreed...I get as mad as anyone else when we get screwed on a call...overall however, I think constant whining about officials is for the weak...certainly no point in moaning about it before the game even starts....

2006 was about as bad as you could get. But the fact that 2004 also had some controversial calls made it worse and created the perception about Auburn getting favorable calls.

I don't remember any in 2008, but that was probably because the SEC didn't want a mass murder of refs.

While I agree with you about the taking care of business ourselves part, I think you are being somewhat shortsighted to think about it soley that way. These SEC rivalries such as LSU/Auburn are hard fought and most of the time very closely contested games so a call one way or the other, on a crucial play, can make a huge stamp on the outcome of a very important game such as this. And we have unfortunately been on the short end of the stick on obvious calls that went against us at that particular location.

You are full of fail.

Based on rankings Auburn and LSU should be two well matched teams. Let's hope a little unconscious bias doesn't find it's way into the game. Any small factor can change the way the game goes. Arky had to start passing with a 2nd string QB because 14 points may have been gifted to the barn. I hope we don't need to rely on JL to make a huge comeback on the plains.

I think it is stupid to complain about the officials a priori, but I completely disagree with your post. LSU is playing the #4,undefeated BCS team n the ROAD. I think LSU could play quite well and still lose. We certainly could lose playing outstanding if we had bad calls go against us.

What about LSU's games during the Miles Era makes you think the game will ever be well in hand? The vast majority of our games in general and with Auburn in particular usually come down to the wire. A couple of bad calls in this game will easily tip the scales in Auburn's favor. And it is not like it hasn't happened multiple times there. So forgive us for being a little cynical about it.

Uhh when two evenly matched teams both play well then the officials can easily be the difference in the game. This isnt LSU vs ULM where all we have to do is play well to win. LSU is playing a team that is pretty damn good.
