Our offensive gameplan was vanilla. No way we could match the intensity of the FL game against Mcneese. The crowd sounded like a High School game. Call it a hangover, call it looking ahead to Auburn, call it playing down to your opponent - whatever. It is what it is, and we will play better against Auburn.

a vanilla offense against a mediocre 1AA defense should have still put up 40 without trying

also, florida proved this week that they ARE NOT GOOD. i told y'all this for weeks

Exactly. We went out there, played basic football did what we needed to win and got out with no huge injuries. Anybody concerned is absolutely stupid

IMO the crowd sounded pretty good considering it was 1AA McNeese

92,500+ were in attendance

No one thought FL was that good. But a win in the swamp is an achievement any year.

you can't really call it a trap game since we won by more then 20.

being sandwiched between florida and auburn left little planing and little care for mcneese.

This is a dumb statement. If you need to rest players, you go out and hang 45 on a Div 1-AA team by halftime, then you sit your starters out for the 2nd half. Our starting offense had to play the entire game. Please look at scores of the other top 25 teams in the country when they play Div 1-AA teams. With the exception of Virginia Tech, the good teams win by 40+ points, even with a "vanilla" offense.

They were hungover from The last 2 games, they played basic, Plus Les didnt want the Lake Charles fans to be real upset so he told JJ to fumble 1 inside their 5 and let them get at least 1 td.... HAHAHA

Call it a hangover,

There is NO legit excuse for this.

They looked even worse against Mcneese. MCNEESE for christ sake.

call it playing down to your opponent

AGAIN NO EXCUSE.

They may be more intense but I don't see them playing any better on offense unless LEE plays the whole game.
