FSN on DirecTV (McNeese Game on Saturday)

This is directed toward DirecTV subscribers and viewers only. I have DirecTV and can bring this information to you at this time. I don't know about Dish Network, or any cable services that may or may not be carrying the game.
As of right now, DirecTV shows the following channels and locations as carrying the McNeese game on Saturday at 6PM Central time:
Fox Sports South, DTV Channel 646, Atlanta
Fox Sports South2, DTV Channel 648, Atlanta(?)
Sunshine Network, DTV Channel 653, Florida
There are many stations in the FSN network that currently show TBA. I suspect that some of them may show the game on Saturday, particularly Fox Sports Southwest in Dallas. The three stations above are the only ones that confirm at this time that they'll have it.
In order to see the games, you must have the DirecTV sports package, in which case, they'll probably also show it on ESPN Gameplan as well.
HOWEVER, if you don't have the sports package, but you do live in the regional area served by the carriers shown above, I'm sure you can find a sports bar with the game on it locally. Additionally, many sports bars around the country also have the sports package and ESPN Gameplan on DirecTV, and whether they're in the areas served by the channels listed above or not, you can probably see the game at your local watering hole.

Is this a TigerVision game? If so, it will be blacked out in Louisiana on the FSN channels in order to get us to pay $40 to watch it in 120p resolution.

I see that now. I looked it up on lsusports.net and didn't see anything about PPV, but I can see LSU finding a way to black it out in LA. I'll be skeptical until the kickoff is shown on my TV

If I have ESPN gameplan but not the sports package on DirecTV, will I still be able to pick up the game?

Not absolutely sure, but think it's on FSN-Houston. Could be on another FSN channel as well.

I called DirecTV last night to ask, and when I asked about the ESPN Gameplan schedule she told me "You will recieve the Ohio St v Wisconsin game on channel 206." I explained to her that I already knew that and that and it was was on regular channel. She finally said that I would be getting the LSU/McNeese game but I am not convinced........Those people are clueless.

The one year I bought the Gameplan, every game I wanted to see involving an SEC team was blacked out in my area.
I remember one Alabama game showing against Troy for a short time, and then whack, it was gone.
All LSU games within the black out area were not included in the plan, and that area extended well beyond Louisiana.

Found this on the FSN Houston website. Looks like you'll catch the game if you live in LA and all the Texas peeps will be watching OU.
ETA: Unless you have FSHouston Plus of course.

Well, they've taken FSN off of DISH network, so I'm pretty much fricked.

Is it possible for any of the Fox Sports channels carrying the game to be blacked out?

If you pay for ESPN Gameplan, then you have access to all of the FSN channels.

If you have Cox cable, it's possible, even likely, that it will be on FOX Sports Southwest, channel 38 in the Louisiana area

I have it listed on my guide on 38 as the game, but 721 (HD) has the OU game. While it may sound dumb, I know ESPN has a few times done a different game in standard def than in high def... is this what's going to happen here?

Blacked out on ESPN3.com here in the 'burbs of Cenla. Not on FSSW either apparently. I'll be in the stadium but the wife and daughter will have to go to the neighbors who get cable instead of Directv.
