how much does Nike pay LSU??

i am watching CNBCW Swoosh: Inside Nike,

and was just wondering how much they pay college schools to put the swoosh on thier gear??

I think they may just give them all of the gear for free and maybe pay them a little. This is just a guess, I really have no idea

I probably can't get into details because it was income declosure for financing, but I saw that Nike paid Pokey Chatman $15,000 in one year per her own admission.

Just football though right? I don't think LSU and Nike have an total athletic deal for all sports. Basketball just got Nike unis a few years ago and I'm pretty sure baseball is not NIKE.

Probably not 2 million because LSU is not the only school where Nike goes.

i know that, but think how many t shirts nike sales because of LSU, i have 12-15 all with the swoosh. plus my wife has a bunch and kids too. thats just one house

Nike just got the new uniform contract for the NFL too. Good riddance to British owned Reebok and their cheap arse, poor fitting jerseys.....

Wow. That's a serious investment by Nike - at just one school. I've always been curious about the economics of these types of deals. I know Nike will in turn sell a lot of LSU merchandise, but damn, how many T-Shirts do they have to sell to cover a $1,000,000 investment?

Stringfellow spoke to out MKT class when I was in school and it was ar 2-3M/yr, not including equiptment etc
