Because JJ COULD NOT HAVE led us to the goal line like Lee did in the final minutes of the game vs Tenn...you think JJ could have made those plays on 4th down like Lee did? Um, nope. Lee has earned the starting job...Miles just hasnt recognized it yet.

Starting means nothing. What if JJ comes in and the first play is a scripted run then JL comes in. Who cares, JL will get the lion's share.

You start your best player and if he does well, he stays in. Starting JJ tells the world that CLM thinks JJ is the better player for the position...but I see what you are saying.

Les is stubborn. He has his own reasons for playing JJ, but I really don't care who gets the first snap.

I think JJ bears the burden of proof at this point.

Les knows what the fans want and likes not giving it to us

Actually Lee led the Tigers down the field twice in a row . JJ never wouldua been able to do that. I just wish i knew what the real reason Mile's has to start JJ. Its not because of his play are his fricking leadership ability.

Lee got one of the biggest plays of the game. that 4th down conversion to TT. JJ would not have done that

agree 100%. Lee already met his burden on the field last Saturday. He EARNED the starting job on the field.

Maybe that blind spot Les referred to is not only preventing him from hearing fans' negativity but also blocking him from seeing who is clearly outperforming and who is clearly underperforming.

You start Lee to reward his good play against TN. You reward him to show other players that good play will be rewarded, and thus...inspire more good play. Lee had better numbers in 1/2 a game, than JJ has had in any game.

I'm still not convinced that JJ will start. Haven't seen one real news source reporting it.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised. Disappointed, but not surprised.

He should start because he is the better "QB", he has a quick release and is dead accurate in the short game. He gives a defense a reason not to put eight in the box and from what was seen in the UT game he can preform under pressure.

Tigerbaiting, I disagree...teams know that JJ isnt gonna kill them with his arm so they can be more aggressive with their blitz packages...we already know that JJ is terrible under pressure.

because JJ would never have converted a 4th down and any yardage, much less 2 of them one 4th and 14.

It's not who starts, its who finishes. With that being said, JJ will play himself out of the game by halftime

As much as I hope that is true, even after Lee led the tigers to an amazing comeback drive with 5 mins left, who finished the game?

Exactly. So you finally put Lee in trailing by two scores. What a reward!

Mentally it takes the pressure off JL to start, which has shown in the past to be detrimental to LSU.

Not a horrible call if you know when to pull the cord, which has always been sketchy under Miles to say the least.
