Current players. I talked to Byrd. He didn't say the same thing. He said "no comment" as did lafell.

i have no problems with les personally. i think he is a genuinely good guy who is probably very friendly off the field. his coaching and game management is what i have a major problem with.

Charles Scott tweeted in disgust at the clock management too. I guess that makes him a diva too.

Of course the players are going to say this publicly. I bet most have differant feelings though. But, these guys are classy and are going to stick together. They know that the right things will be done when the time is right to better help the future of the program.

Nah, he is just bitter that Les didn't develop him into an NFL running back like Saban would have.

Screw Byrd, He was an a-- to my kids and everybody else a couple of years ago at the practice game.. Treated kids idolizing him like dirt. As far as Les goes, he is a nice guy, but sux as a coach, Adios Les!!!!

After reading that article, one thing is clear. This team is willing to do whatever it takes for Coach Miles. I am as pissed as the next guy about what happened this past week, but if this team decides to use the fanbase as a motivation, and fight for the coach, this team could be dangerous....

did anyone read the article?

quote:

''He's fiery, very fiery,'' Shepard said. ''One thing he tries to channel to us is, you've got one chance to play college football, so he says play it with passion. ... Off the field, he's a father-figure to a lot of these players that don't have fathers. He's the reason why a lot of players have had the opportunity to have successful careers.''

quote:

''We worked on that situation if by some crazy chance we ever ended up in that again,'' Hebert said. ''If anything, the Ole Miss game served as a learning tool and actually allowed us to avoid having the same result two times in a row.''

I love the article

Lafell can thank Miles for being part of his success (reaching the NFL).

Nobody is knocking the guy for his moral compass, most people agree that he's a good guy. But the fact is, he's not being paid $4 mil to be a good guy, he's being paid to be a good coach.

how about the quote fom Alleva that says he is disappointed by the lst 36 seconds, but we are 5-0 and that is all the needs to be said right now.

Not a ringing endorsement.
