How long will it take me to drive from Jacksonville airport to Gainesville? Any short cuts?

I'm bringing my 16 yr old daughter, any limitations on the Swamp Restaurant getting her in? What about the Ale?

The airport is North of Jacksonville. Gainesville is south. I would allow for at least 2 hours. You may make it in less, or maybe more if traveling on game day.

Should be no problem with the 16 year old. The Swamp will probably be more crowded with drinkers - if you can find a table outside, it will be less crowded. The swamp is only a couple of blocks from the stadium. The Ale house is further away and is bigger. Probably less crowded, easier to find a table, and a hair cheaper. You cannot walk to the stadium from the Ale House.

I295 east around to Hwy 21 south. Take 21 all the way through Keystone Heights and turn right on Hwy 26. Follow this into Gainesville...this road runs right through downtown and then past the stadium. About 2hrs.
