I've always liked Les Miles and wanted him to succeed. You can flame me all you want, but I really don't think he's the troglodyte everybody makes him out to be.

It seems that, barring a dramatic turnaround this season, his reputation has been irreparably damaged with the vast majority of fans and his days are numbered.
To all the negatigers out there: Is there anything at this point that Les could do to redeem himself in your eyes?
Les Miles is not performing to his salary, Period. No discussion.
He'd have to turn things around, and I don't see it happening. 5-0 is a mirage, believe me.
With that said, if LSU beats Alabama this year, I'd rethink some things, but LSU can still do better for the $$$ they are paying him.
Is this program getting any better? Look at the past 2 to 3 years, since the NC in 2007. Even 2007 ... let's face it, LSU backed into the NC game.
Do you want LSU to consistently be a top 5 program year in and out? If so, I'm afraid it's time for Les Miles to leave.
The one thing that could maybe save him? Hire a kick arse OC for next year and give him free reign. Les needs to stay out of the offense.

I think this is the only way he saves his job. Too much has come out of this meltdown and last year's Ole Miss game. Too many big boy$ mad right now at the way this has gone.
