I figured this would be a good idea. MUCH easier to keep up with. I'll update the OP with page numbers whenever discussion of each episode begins so that there are no spoilers for those coming in late, missed an episode, etc....

ETA:

Episode 3 "In-Show" Discussion: Begins mid-Page 2

OK - So... Episode 2.

It appears that those of y'all who were worried about Feauxlivia becoming "too nice" spending time on this side... Sure doesn't look like that's going to be an issue.

Shocked at what Feauxlivia did. Thought she would eventually enjoy her new life. Great episode though.

Working nights sucks, hopefully the torrent comes up soon. You guys happen to know what time new episodes come up on Fox.com?

this was better than the premier in that it was back to weird arse Fringe cases and i like where they're going with the machine and Peter.

I keep thinking that Peter has it figured out that it's Feauxlivia. I mean she can memorize all the pop culture she wants but she's still acting very different.

I think she's fully committed to playing the "distraction" card...

Not to mention her little last-moment tunnel stunt will play well with his psyche.

do you really think guys are that shallow that she'll be able to hide the fact she's a completely different person just by having sex with him all the time?

Saying she's a completely different person may be a BIT of a stretch...

And I don't think she's done him yet.... So - YES. Until he plants his flag on that mountain top, he will be distracted.

does anyone else think willam bell isn't dead? i know we're supposed to think he is but i don't. is he the one on the other end of the typewriter? is giving walter massive dynamic a way to help get the weapon up and running? i love this show.

My personal theory is that there are OTHER dimensions beside the two we've seen so far. I think a 3rd William Bell is a player here. As the series progresses, I think we're really gonna see it open up to some crazy multiversal shite.

This show just keeps getting better and better

Oh lawd...

Thirdverse: Main Character Overview

Bell - Polter-typist

Olivia - occupation unchanged, has coal-black hair, CONSTANTLY cracking up/uber-jovial

Peter - skill set resembles that of a Carny/magician (slight of hand, accurate height/weight assessment, bear trainer, etc...), lactose intolerant

Walter - Just as crazy, but was never institutionalized - sequestered himself from society as a long-haul trucker and rugged outdoorsman (Has a SERIES of labs in abandoned Stuckeys restaurants).

Astrid - Can only be seen/heard by Walter

Nina - A highly evolved talking refrigerator

I can't wait to see more!!!

Maybe I was drinking too much, but I don't recall seeing Observers yet this season.

Yeah, I was thinking about that last night. Also, what did Nina get in the will?

If I had to guess, it was a component or a critical piece of information about the universe destroying machine Walternate is trying to put together.

Either that, or maybe it's the implementation details of a mechanism for her to regrow her arm.

Very likely it was a countermeasure... or the secret to an infinite energy source... or the solution to healing all the "dead spots" on the other side.... or the knowledge that there are "other-worlders" among them (perhaps even Feauxlivia).

Interesting split on the will - Walter got the money/resources. Nina got the knowledge/power.

OOOOOh.... MAYBE it was how to restore Walter's memories.
