Peterson's return last weekend, and pose afterwards may go down as one of the greatest moments in LSU history, rivaling Billy Cannon's great Halloween night return if this season turns out like I think it will. We need to cherish this kid while he's here and sit back, enjoy...regardless of who lines up under center. Geaux Tigers!!!!!! Stop the bitc*ing, and enjoy! These moments don't happen everyday.

Dude it was a nice punt return, but not even one of the top 10 LSU football moments

It is nothing close to Cannon's that is ludicrous.

I won't compare it to Cannon just yet... but I will be taking in every minute of this football season that we get to see Peterson. He'll go down as one of the best if we can have a championship season that he is the cornerstone of.

Only time will tell

not close to cannon's. He broke a bunch of tackles on the way and it was a last chance game winning TD. IF PP wins the Heisman, it will have more significance.

now a 4th quarter return for a TD that provides the winning margin for undefeated LSU against undefeated Alabama....then we can start talking all time greatest moments.

but who knows what will happen before then

fake field goal

was a great play at a great time in a great season, but i dont think we were ever really in danger of losing that game.

some recent ones off the top of my head:
-jamarcus' throw to complete the comeback and beat asu in the first game after katrina
-perriloux's ( ) performance in the 07 sec title game
-mauck to green to down uga in 03
-chad jones making jpw his bitch to beat bama in 07

let's keep this going

Billy Cannon might have made funny money later in life, but he would have never done a "pose" in the end zone and cost his team 15 yards of field position.

Too bad, because that was a great thing for PP to do.
